The LRC is dedicated to keeping under review the laws of Liberia to ensure their systematic development and reform, in particular the harmonization and codification of the laws to ensure that they are fair, simple, accessible and responsive to the needs of the Liberian people.
The Law Reform Commission envisions a Liberia where modern, responsive and accessible laws prevail.
The LRC's value is integrity, professionalism, objectivity and result-oriented approach.
The LRC's programs revolve around seven strategic themes for an initial five year period, namely: coordinated and integrated law reform initiatives and processes in Liberia; law revision; codification of laws and Supreme Court Opinions; law reform; access to laws of Liberia and implementation of the Strategic Plan .
